A lab practical asks you to recognize structures on the material in front of you. Use your instructor’s list to practice on the models, slides, photographs, or specimens from your course. Knowing a term’s definition is a start; finding the marked structure is the task to rehearse.
Check the exam instructions before making a study plan. Do you need to give a name, a function, a side, or all three? Are stations timed?
Turn the course list into practice questions

Hide the label and attempt an answer
Study an unfamiliar target with the label visible first. Then cover it, attempt the answer, and check. For materials you may handle, change the viewing angle within your lab's rules. If you use photographs, select approved images and respect restrictions on photographing specimens.

Make a useful record of mistakes
Write down what went wrong as well as the structure’s name. “Confused the two neighboring landmarks” tells you what to compare next time. A list of wrong answers alone leaves you to work that out again.

Set up a short practice circuit
Choose ten targets from material you are allowed to use. Number them, put the answer key on a separate sheet, and work through them in a mixed order. If your exam has a published station limit, use that limit for a rehearsal. Otherwise, begin untimed and ask your instructor about the format.
Write each answer before checking the key. Mark slow but correct responses separately from wrong identifications, so you can tell which targets need more study and which need a quicker recall attempt.
Spread the work across several sessions
In your first session, attempt a few items from each topic to find the gaps. Use the next sessions to work on missed targets and get access to any models or slides you still need. As the exam approaches, mix the topics and rehearse the announced station format. Leave time to revisit errors and confirm the exam logistics.
